Hello

Welcome to Ink is Therapy, a concept born from my personal journey but has evolved into much more. Ink is Therapy is a celebration of not only my clients' bodies but also the incredible stories that they carry. This philosophy acknowledges the profound impact tattoos can have on our perception of self and the healing they can bring.

My name is Taylor, I am a tattoo artist driven by passion and a deep understanding of the human experience. My journey has led me to a place where my artistry embraces not only the physical but also the emotional and mental well-being of those seeking solace in their own skin.

I acknowledge that I work on the traditional unceded territory of the Semiahmoo First Nations and the broader territory of the Coast Salish First Nations peoples.

My Story

Tattoos hold a special place in my heart as they intertwine my two greatest passions: art and personal transformation. I chose tattooing because art has always been my escape—a way to express my deepest emotions and find solace in the creative process. What truly fuels my love for tattooing is witnessing the incredible transformation in my clients' confidence.

As a childhood sexual abuse survivor, I intimately understand the toll that mental health can have on one's self-worth and identity.

During my healing journey, getting tattooed was a powerful process of reclaiming ownership over my body, as it became a means of self-expression and a tangible way to turn pain into strength.

Ink is Therapy is a haven where art becomes a vehicle for healing and self-acceptance. It's about honouring the resilience of our bodies, creating space for catharsis, and empowering individuals to embrace their unique beauty.
